1x Header Operator, 1x Machinery Operator, near Moora WA

Job Description

• Dates: now to 9 January (approx);
• Experienced header operator required to operate John Deere S790, harvesting wheat and barley;
• Join a large team that runs 3 John Deere Headers and 2 Chasers pulled by 500hp John Deere tractors;
• Lunch and dinner included during peak period;
• Location: 190km north of Perth.
• Other duties include blowing down the header at the end of each day; fuel and service the machine each morning and maintain a clean cab;
• Qualified Mechanic on site to oversee any repairs;
• Safety is a priority.

Second role:

The primary role for the second person will be tramline renovating operating a 150hp John Deere tractor, using autosteer and, attached onto 3 point linkage will be the renovator.  This job does become a little monotonous, so we like to rotate three people between the two chaser bins and the renovator, to give them all a bit of variety. Ideally this second person will have reasonable tractor experience, some chaser bin experience and if possible, some John Deere monitor & autosteer experience. We would be happy to manage them into both roles with some training. Our current chaser bin operators have tramline renovating experience.
