#13105: 19-year-old non-smoker with a full NZ driver’s licence, currently based in NSW and available to start immediately. Preference to stay in the East but happy to fly to WA for the right role. Seeking seeding or farmhand work through to mid-July with a strong interest in gaining more tractor and machinery operating experience. Currently on a cropping farm where work has ended early due to very dry conditions. Comes from a strong agricultural mechanical background and is partway through a diesel mechanic apprenticeship, with hands-on experience servicing and maintaining tractors and agricultural machinery, completing routine services independently and assisting with more complex mechanical tasks. Has recent on-farm experience including fencing, fabrication, loader work, basic tractor work, quad bike spraying and rigid truck driving, along with prior engineering, welding and fabrication experience. Grew up around farms and has helped out on friend’s farm growing up. Great references from his current boss that would happily have him on their air seeder. Considered mature and very switched on for his age, well suited to clients willing to train and looking for a reliable, mechanically minded young operator. The referee confirms the candidate is a reliable and hardworking farm hand who approaches tasks with a calm, willing attitude. He is practical, mechanically minded and quick to pick up new skills, performing well in fencing, stick raking and workshop duties, including basic welding. He works long hours without complaint, respects shared accommodation, and integrates well with others on site.
