Job Description

  • Start between now and early November (flexible), finishing around Christmas time / first week of Jan;
  • Lovely farming family requiring a Header Operator for their 12,000ha program;
  • They run 3 headers, 2 chasers, 3 trucks with a harvest team of 10 (4 casuals) – you will be operating the JD X9 with 50ft front;
  • Opportunities for post harvest work in Jan (spreading, deep ripping, carting if you hold a truck licence);
  • Those with header experience are preferred, but other broadacre and larger machinery experience considered;
  • Donga accommodation available, caravan park near CBH available, own caravan to go on farm/in town also considered.
  • Located only 5 minutes from town.

Daytime header operator role;
Harvest covers 12,000 hectares (wheat, barley, canola, lupins, peas), with a paddock crew including 3 headers, 2 chaser bins, 3 trucks, and a harvest team of 10 (4 casuals).

Machinery to be operated:

John Deere X9 with a 50-foot front.
