15534: Two Ag university students, aged 20 (15497) and 21 (15534), are seeking harvest opportunities from late October and are ideally looking to work together, although they are happy to take separate positions if required. Both come from strong farming backgrounds and are currently studying Agricultural Science and Veterinary Science respectively. They have experience operating tractors and farm machinery on family farms and through agricultural placements, however their machinery experience remains below the level typically sought for experienced harvest operators. What they do bring is a great deal of common sense, a strong work ethic, practical livestock experience and a genuine passion for agriculture. Both present exceptionally well and come across as intelligent, capable young people who are keen to learn and build a long-term future within the industry. They are looking for an opportunity to gain further machinery and harvest experience, are prepared for the long hours and challenges that harvest brings, and are open to opportunities in Western Australia or anywhere across the eastern states. Ideally suited to an employer willing to invest some time into training two enthusiastic candidates who have the foundations and attitude to develop into strong operators.
