Job Description

  • Dates: now – mid/late Dec;
  • Team of 7 with 3 headers and 2 chaser bins, you will be operating a Case 7240 harvester with 3050 Vario front and MacDon D140 front;
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner provided during peak period!
  • Great accommodation options (see below) and work vehicle for personal use;
  • PEAK hours 12-14 hours per day, 13 day fortnights (weather permitting);
  • Previous broadacre experience required, and those with air seeder, sprayer or header experience will be favoured;
  • Will consider lesser experience if interested in a permanent position after harvest (would require previous broadacre farming experience);
  • Other duties include pre-start checks, assist with daily servicing, assist with breakdown repairs and moving machinery;
  • Nearest town: 35km.

Previous broad acre harvesting experience required;
Willing to provide training if the candidate is interested in a permanent position after harvest (would require previous broadacre farming experience).

Have 2 accommodation options. 3x1 house suitable for single person - recently renovated, Reverse cycle air conditioning, large living areas, sharing with 1 or 2 other casuals; and a large 4x2 house, suitable for a family, reverse cycle air conditioning.
