We are seeking a skilled and motivated Casual General Farm Hand to join our growing team for pre and post seeding 2026. The role may have the opportunity to be extended to include harvest in October/November/December 2026. Modern machinery and strong family leadership, this is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical ability, seeding/harvest experience, and a passion for broad acre cropping. General Farm Hand #1 (filled)
Operate and maintain seeding machinery and equipment with modern and well-maintained machinery. This includes activities such as soil amelioration; spreading of fertiliser; application of nutrients; levelling of paddocks using a box blade and off set discs; general farm maintenance; and seeding this year’s crop.
General Farm Hand/ Domestic #2 (casual – full time or part time depending on skills and interest)
Help keep the house hold running smoothly ie washing, cooking, cleaning, helping with children and gardening with the option to operate and maintain seeding machinery and equipment with modern and well-maintained machinery. This includes activities such as soil amelioration; spreading of fertiliser; application of nutrients; levelling of paddocks using a box blade and off set discs; general farm maintenance; and seeding this year’s crop.
About You:
Role #1 (filled)
- 2+ years broadacre or cropping experience;
- Strong mechanical aptitude;
- Experience with broadacre machinery specifically tractors and implements such as spreaders and seeders
- Must have a valid drivers licence. HR Licence is an advantage but not essential.
Role #2
- Experience in house keeping ie washing, cooking, cleaning, tidying up
- Experience with children
- Broadacre or cropping experience (an advantage);
- Experience with broadacre machinery specifically tractors and implements such as spreaders and seeders (an advantage);
