1x Machinery Operator (spreading, then air seeding), Morawa (REF 10438)
Job Description
- Dates: 01 Feb – 31 July 2026
- Spreading lime, gypsum and fertilizer in February, March and June;
- Operate an air seeder April to May (some night shift may be required);
- Large machinery experience essential;
- Conduct pre-start checks, greasing and basic maintenance and servicing;
- Pre-season and post-season maintenance during quiet times

Skills / minimum level of experience required:
Able to operate machinery in an efficient and safe way.
Previous machinery operation experience required.
Australian broadacre experience preferred but not essential.
Machinery to be operated:
Marshall multi spreader and T9.450/T9.670 tractor
Ranger 300k Loader
Komatsu WA500-6 loader
Ausplow DBS 60ft air seeder, 9800 Morris air cart and Steiger 600/645 Quadtrac

Typical days + hours to be worked during peak / off peak times:
Off peak: 8hrs 5 days/week; Peak: 12-14hours 13 day fortnight (some night shifts may be required)
Hourly rate range:
$35-40 per hour, depending on experience
Team size:
9 during peak times, 5 off peak
Current team structure:
2.5 full time, 2 owner/managers, 3-4 causals during seeding
