General Dairy Farm Assistant, Brunswick, WA
Job Description
- Dates: now to late December, fortnightly roster, every alternative weekend to be worked.
- Family run dairy farm.
- 1 position with single accommodation provided.
- Assist with day to day general management of livestock including the calf rearing facility.
- Daily observation of all young livestock and their development, noting, reporting and treating any animals showing signs of ill health.
- Some relief milking duties may be required as per the fortnightly roster.
- Tractor work feeding out.
- Work ute provided.

Skills / minimum level of experience required:
A strong understanding and experience of animal husbandry and a keen eye for detail with raising young livestock is very necessary.

Machinery to be operated:
Manual 1986 Toyota hilux ute and trailer (milk)
Some tractor work feeding grain to weaned calves
