Job Description
We are looking for a MC Driver to operate our grain trucks during harvest.
- Dates: Mid September – Late December (approx.);
- Hourly rate: Happy to discuss, depending on experience;
- 12 to 14 hours a day 1 day off a week during peak periods;
- Accommodation provided: Up to date donga style accommodation with own room shower and toilet shared kitchen common area.
About the role
- Operating 404 and 409 Kenworth pocket road trains during harvest;
- Covering days off in the larger trucks as part of a 7-day harvest operation;
- Paddock carting grain to the grain shed using a 404 Kenworth and semi-trailer;
- Carting grain to town using a 404 Kenworth and pocket road train when required.
About you
- Current MC Licence;
- Any level of experience considered;
- Able to carry out basic maintenance;
- Able to reverse pocket road train combinations;
- Current Commercial Vehicle Medical or willingness to obtain;
- Certificate in Apply Fatigue Management Strategies or willingness to obtain.
