Job Description

  • Dates: end March – end May approx;
  • Family farm seeking a seeding operator to join team of 4, operating a Case IH Quadtrac 600 with 18m Morris Quantum drill and 9445 Morris Air Cart.;
  • 6,000 ha cropping program (wheat, canola, barley, field peas) with 2000 sheep and 400 angus cows;
  • Previous seeding experience preferred;
  • Other duties include: filling seeder with seed, granular and liquid fertilizer. Daily maintenance tasks including fluid checks and greasing;
  • During Seeding 6-7 days, 8-10 hours a day;
  • $35-$50/hr depending on experience;
  • Located 110km North West of Esperance;
  • Accommodation option – small 3 bedroom house.
