Job Description

  • Dates: early April – late June (approx);
  • Join a great family farm with a 4000 Ha cropping program and modern equipment;
  • Located 25mins from coastal Dongara, approx. 4 hours north of Perth;
  • Previous machinery operation experience essential, past seeding experience preferred;
  • Peak: 6 days a week, 12 hour days;
  • $34-$40/hr depending on experience;
  • Dinner included during peak season;
  • Modern farmhouse accommodation;

Other duties will include: machinery operation – airseeder, deep ripper, spreader, weed-it sprayer; assist with maintenance and general repairs of equipment; general farm duties such as rock picking, burning etc.

Skills / minimum level of experience required:

Previous machinery operation experience essential.
Past seeding experience preferred.

Machinery to be operated:

John Deere tractors - 9420, 9530T, 8310R, 8245R
Seeders - 40ft DBS, 40ft Concord with John Deere 1910 aircarts
Nufab deep ripper
Bredal spreader
