2x Air Seeder Operators/General Farm Hands, Wubin WA (REF 11840)

Job Description

• Dates: early March to mid July (approx);
• 1x Air Seeder Operator and 1x General Farm Hand/Operator required (or shared role between both);
• Mixed 4,500ha farm, cropping 3,500ha property with Case machinery;
• Ideally you will have seeding experience, but at a minimum you will have solid tractor driving and GPS experience;
• Manual car license required as is a willingness to help with sheep work;
• Experience with telehandler or front end loader also preferred due to pre / post seeding work;
• New 2 bedroom accommodation with separate laundry (caravan also available if preferred);
• No meals included however this may be negotiated if required;
• Located 50km from Dalwallinu.

Other duties will include:

• Assist with preparing machinery for seeding;
• Fill and transport liquid fertilizer at seeding to airseeder
• Daily greasing and fueling of machinery;
• Spreading fertilizer and limesand;
• Rake straw windrows;
• Assist with sheep work (chasing, feeding, marking lambs);
• Operate JCB telehandler.
