Air Seeder Operator, Cascade WA (REF 11782)
Job Description
- Dates: early March – mid July (approx);
- Join this team of 5 as an Air Seeder Operator;
- Min 2 years experience operating tractors/farm machinery;
- $30-$40/hr depending on experience;
- Other duties may include general farm duties and machinery maintenance;
- Peak: 12 hours 7 days a week;
- Lunch and dinner provided during the season;
- Non smoking;
Other job details:
- This role will be varied depending on the applicants skill level;
- Must have good communication skills;
- Must be able to work independently once trained;
- Other duties will include feeding livestock with mixer wagon in the feedlot and weighing lambs for sale;
- Potential to return for harvest if suited to the role;
- Shared accommodation – 4 bedroom donga with own shower.

Skills / minimum level of experience required:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating tractors/farm machinery.
Car licence
Ability to work independently once trained and a good communicator
Machinery to be operated:
Case Steiger 600 with 18 m DBS bar
Case Magnum 280 with bredal spreader
Case 140 with riteway rock picker
Claas teleloader

Owner plus 1 senior farmhand plus 1 junior farmhand plus casuals
