Job Description

  • Start between early and mid March (depending on skillset) until early June – potential to return for harvest;
  • Join this family run broadacre farm with an experienced team for the upcoming season;
  • You will be operating John Deere RX 9520 tractor pulling 18m Ausplow bar and 2800L bin in this team of 8.
  • Seeding experience required, driving a 4WD tractor including experience maintaining the bar, bin and tractor and daily maintenance requirements;
  • 12 hour days during seeding;
  • $35/hr approx. depending on experience;
  • Donga with private bathroom and shared living and kitchen area;
  • Lunch and dinner provided during peak periods.

Other job details:

  • Must be experienced with John Deere My Ops guidance program;
  • Manual licence required;
  • Fluent English language skills required;
  • Own vehicle desirable;
  • No vapers.

Skills / minimum level of experience required:

Must have more than 2 years seeding seasons having driven a 4WD tractor with aircart and airseeder with guidance, like My Operations John Deere.

Ability to complete 12 hour shifts.
