Job Description

***TOP EMPLOYER*** Operate a John Deere 9370R with 32t chaser bin as part of our harvest team to deliver a safe and efficient 2026 harvest. You’ll be responsible for the machine’s operation, daily maintenance, and optimisation to ensure smooth running throughout the season. Work alongside the farm owner as a key member of the family business.

  • Dates: Mid October – Early Jan 2027 (approx.);
  • $34+ based on experience;
  • 6 days a week 10-12hrs a day. Alternating between 7am starts (day shift) and 12pm starts (night shift).
  • All meals included during the season;
  • Located Dalwallinu, 2.5hrs north of Perth;

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate the John Deere 9370R and chaser bin during harvest operations;
  • Carry out daily clean-down, pre-start checks, and routine maintenance;
  • Safely and efficiently unload headers and move grain to the field bins;
  • Assist with moving harvest equipment between farms as required;
  • Support other general farm tasks before harvest or during downtime due to weather.

Cook Role Overview

Help keep our harvest team fuelled and ready . As our Cook, you’ll be in charge of preparing hearty, high-quality meals for our small crew during the 2026 harvest season. You’ll take ownership of meal planning, ingredient ordering, food preparation and kitchen organisation to ensure the team is well fed. General farm work or machinery operation is also available if interested.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare hearty, high-quality meals for the harvest team;
  • Plan menus and organise shopping for ingredients;
  • Maintain a clean, organised kitchen;
  • Ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene;
  • Assist with general harvest support or ground crew duties if desired.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience preparing meals for small groups
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
