Job Description

  • Dates: 18 March – 05 June (approx);
  • Joining a team of 12, you will be required to operate and maintain JD590RX Track Tractor with 24m bar with JD GPS and TopCon;
  • You will have a minimum 2 seasons experience on a seeder, proven ability in daily servicing;
  • You must be mature with excellent English;
  • Accommodation is a new purpose built 8 bed/ensuite complex with shared kitchen, living, laundry and deck;
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinners will be provided during the peak period;
  • Located 75km to Esperance.

Other role requirements and expectations:

  • Fill Air seeder Bin with Seed, Granular Fertiliser and Liquid Nitrogen
  • Follow provided procedures accurately
  • Regular safety and blockage checks
  • Co-operate in a team environment
  • Use clear and effective communication, verbally and on communication apps
  • Uphold high standards of safety as detailed in our provided inductions
  • No Smoking or Pets allowed.

Skills / minimum level of experience required:

Minimum 2 completed seasons driving a seeding rig.
Proven ability in daily servicing.
Minimum age 23 years.
Excellent spoken English.

Machinery to be operated:

JD590RX Track Tractor. 24m Boss Seeder Bar and 35t Bourgault Streamliner Air seeder Bin.
John Deere GPS and TopCon monitoring systems.
