Step-by-step guide to advertising your seasonal vacancy onto Rural Enterprises’ website:
- Register here and enter details of your job requirements. The more details you provide, the quicker your job advert can be created and the more likely you are to receive suitable applicants – details such as the type of work, hours required, makes/models of machinery they may operate, accommodation details, hourly rate range, meals provided (if any), local facilities etc.
- If you are already logged in, select “Advertise a Job” from the left hand menu.
- Once you are happy with the job details, you can submit your job and move on to the payment page where you can pay by card.
- After you have paid, Rural Enterprises will review your job, create a professionally written advert and post it live onto the website. We like to get details listed online as quickly as possible so please provide all details.
- Your name, address and contact details are not visible or provided to applicants for your privacy, and so job seekers can not contact you directly.
- We will review and approve applications prior to them arriving to your email.
- When you do receive applications, you will have visibility of their name, contact details, CV, referee details and additional details about what they are looking for.
- At this point, make contact with the applicant to discuss their suitability, reference check as required, and offer them the job if suitable.
- Please advise Rural Enterprises you have filled the position so we can check with the Immigration Department their legal rights to work in Australia. It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure the employee has work rights – we will conduct this verification on your behalf, for your peace of mind – you don’t want to be caught out!
- You are welcome to peruse our seasonal Featured Candidates. Click “View Profile” to see their details (however, you will not see their name or contact details). If they look suitable and you would like to invite them to apply for your role, contact us directly – we will reach out to the job seeker free of charge and invite them to apply. This option is only available to those who have a live advert.
