Available from the beginning of April for the seeding season and open to staying on for some post‑seeding work, but not available through harvest. Non‑smoker, fit and healthy. Looking for $30–$35 per hour. Currently employed by a large agricultural contracting business since September 2024, operating a range of large tractors including John Deere, Fendt and Massey Ferguson. Experience includes cultivation work such as power harrowing, silage and hay operations (mowing, raking, round and square wrapping, stacking), trailer work for bales, maize and silage carting, and general contracting duties. Mechanically minded with previous experience in automotive workshops and ongoing involvement in workshop tasks including servicing, maintenance and basic welding repairs. Comfortable working long hours, in isolation or within a team, and keen to learn seeding operations. No previous seeding experience but shows strong aptitude and willingness to learn. Holds an NZ automatic car licence but can drive manual. Referee confirms he has operated a range of modern tractors and equipment (typically around 240HP but up to 280HP), is mechanically minded, and is known for his strong work ethic, long hours during peak periods, and attention to machine care. He works well both independently and as part of a larger team and comes highly recommended by his current employer.
