#14327: 22 y/o, Kiwi, non-smoker looking for a harvest opportunity in WA from late August onwards. Having already completed both harvest and seeding with the same WA broadacre operation, he was invited back for a second season and has experience operating a John Deere 30T chaser bin, seeder bars, and a range of John Deere tractors through both Australian and New Zealand contracting roles. He is specifically looking to step into a header operating position to continue developing his machinery skills and is seeking around $38/hr. Ideally, he would like to work alongside two friends who are also interested in coming to WA, although they have more limited broadacre experience and may be better suited to chaser bin or general harvest support roles. He enjoys working within larger teams rather than smaller operations, is open to any location across WA but is particularly interested in opportunities around Esperance, and would prefer accommodation that includes evening meals during the season. Away from machinery work, he has a strong livestock background from a 650ha family sheep and beef property and is happy to assist with livestock, workshop and general farm duties when required.
