Job Description

We are seeking an experienced machinery operator to join our progressive farming business to undertake spraying and spreading duties;

  • Dates: now until late December (approx);
  • 11,000ha mixed cropping enterprise;
  • 60 hour weeks / peak times 80 hours;
  • Approximately $40/hr negotiable depending on experience;
  • Dinners provided during peak period;
  • Accommodation provided with shared living and kitchen area;
  • Work vehicle available for private use (within reason);
  • 60kms from Albany.

About the role

  • Operating a Rogator 1300C and Claas Axion 950/930 within a structured and professional cropping program, working closely with the management team and agronomy to deliver timely, precise application.
  • Other duties will be available during unfavourable spraying conditions.
  • An advanced skill set in mechanics, welding and or sheepwork are desirable skills during off peak times.

- Strong attention to detail and stewardship mindset
